“It Hurts When Fido Hurts" is a 1987 Memories of Yesterday figurine done by Enesco Corp. It was designed and lovingly reproduced from the artwork of Mabel Lucie Attwell who was born in England in 1879 and began drawing as a young girl. In 1911 she began designing postcards and was known for her cute, nostalgic drawings of children, based on her daughter, Peggy. Her drawings are featured on many postcards, advertisements, posters, books and figurines. This figurine is a cute little girl with tears rolling down her cheeks holding her puppy which has a bandage on its foot. It is #114561 and is 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/2†wide. It is a beautiful hand painted, bisque porcelain figurine and would make a great gift for someone special or a great addition to any collection. This charming figurine is in excellent condition and has no cracks, chips or stains.
