Josef Originals May Birthstone Figurine - $30

Josef Dolls originated in the mid to late 1940's when Muriel Joseph George designed these creative dolls. Her first designs were produced between 1945 and 1962 in California before moving the manufacture of the dolls to Japan for economic reasons. This adorable Josef Originals Figurine is the May Birthstone Birthday Girl. This Josef Originals Series was produced from the 1960's until 1985. This figurine is beautiful; she is holding a yellow flower with an emerald coloured stone in the centre. Her gown is light green with raised flowers and gold highlights. She measures 3 3/4" high and 3 3/4"across with no nicks, chips or cracks. There is a gold and black sticker on her dress that says "May Emerald by Josef". On the bottom is the black Josef Originals stamp. This figurine is in excellent condition with no damage or flaws.
