Franklin Mint, West Highland Terrier Oval Collectors Plates - $75

This is a Set of 2 West Highland White Terrier Plates done for The Franklin Mint by Nigel Hemming. Crafted of the finest porcelain they have been designated a Franklin Mint Heirloom Recommendation. They feature the artwork of Nigel Hemming showcasing these darling little terriers. One plate is entitled "In the Heather". You will absolutely love this pair of Westies contrasted against the lovely tropical beach background. They are just adorable. The other is entitled "Master of the Tartans". This charming collector plate features a close up of one of these sweet little terriers sitting on a red tartan. The attention to detail is very nicely done. The colours are rich and there is a very pretty border around each plate's edge. They are both gilded with 24 karat gold around the rims, they are limited editions, and numbered on the back by hand in 24 karat gold as well. Approximate dimensions are 8 ¾ inches by 6 ¾ inches. Each plate is simply beautiful and in absolutely perfect condition. No chips, cracks or crazing and no discolouration. Absolutely flawless. Not one flaw on either of them.
