This exquisite round domed butter dish is in the Pineapple Prescut pattern from Anchor Hocking circa 1941-1970's. The Pineapple pattern originated in 1941, appearing 20 years before the EAPC (Star of David)--yet the Pineapple is often confused with the EAPC. There doesn't appear to have been many different pieces manufactured in the Pineapple pattern. This outstanding pattern absolutely sparkles in light. The butter dish has a scalloped edge and measures 6.75" in diameter and 4" high at the top of the pretty finial knob. This is a gorgeous glass pattern and wonderful to collect. Great for the new collector because it is easy to identify. Butter dish is in very good condition without chips, cracks or fleabites.
